1. Data We Collect

Name & phone number – to contact you during recovery.

  • Location (GPS) – real-time tracking when you call for help.
  • Vehicle reg & make/model – for correct tools and parts.
  • Payment card details – processed via secure terminal (not stored).
  • Call recordings – for training and dispute resolution (30 days).

2. How We Use It

  • Dispatch the nearest van (average 18 min ETA).
  • Send SMS with live ETA and driver name.
  • Process on-site payment (PCI-DSS compliant).
  • Follow up if you report a later fault (24 h guarantee).

3. Who Sees It

  • Our Kendal dispatch team (3 staff).
  • The driver sent to you (name, photo, van reg shared).
  • Card processor (Stripe UK – encrypted, no storage).
  • Insurers (vehicle photos only if damage claim).

4. Data Retention

  • Job records: 12 months (DVLA & insurance).
  • Call audio: 30 days then auto-deleted.
  • Location logs: 24 hours then purged.

5. Your Rights (UK GDPR)

  • Request a copy of your data (free, 48 h).
  • Ask us to delete it (except legal records).
  • Opt out of follow-up texts (reply STOP).
